These smoothies are sweetened naturally from bananas and berries. Feel free to use fresh or frozen fruits and veggies in these protein packed shakes. This recipe was used in The Kids Cook Monday pilot with Columbia Teachers College and the Harlem Health Promotion Center.
Together: Place the water or milk, bananas, greens, berries, flaxseed meal into a blender. Season with a little honey to taste. Puree until blended, pour into 2 glasses in equal portions and enjoy.
